The Round brush is vital in smaller sizes for details and highlights, and in larger sizes produces a linear mark which some prefer to the flatter mark of other brushes.

The Short Flat/Bright shape produces the bold, defined marks expected from a flat brush. The shorter bristle length gives greater control of thicker or large quantities of colour.

The Long Flat brush is made to the same specifications as the Short Flat, but the longer bristle length gives greater spring and looser marks

The filbert is a flat brush with a Round edge, combining the control of the flat brushes with the softer edges of Round brushes.
